Live DVD and Meteora Remixes

As reported before, Linkin Park will be releasing a live CD/DVD with footage and audio from Summer Sanitarium in November. According to MTV.com, a tracklisting and title have not been finalized but the footage was done on 35mm cameras so the videos have a more professional look. "We taped a couple of Summer Sanitarium shows, knowing very well that a lot of the people who wanted to see that tour weren't going to see it," said emcee Mike Shinoda. "I think it's really beautiful. It's done on 35 mm [film] for the most part. Usually our stuff is done on DV for that home video kind of feel, but we really wanted artistically to make it a little more mature. It's a cool-looking thing." The article later goes on to say that "Meteora" remixes will be released, just not a full album like "Reanimation"'s treatment of "Hybrid Theory" songs and b-sides. Some remixes may appear on Linkin Park's other planned CD/DVD which is more along the lines of their platinum "Frat Party at the Pankake Festival", although nothing has been confirmed.
